Rick's Lube Complete Autocare

If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. My experience with Rick’s Lube Oil Service was a complete disaster, and I strongly recommend thinking twice before trusting this shop with your vehicle. I took my 2000 Lexus ES 300 to Rick’s on June 3rd for an oil change. Two young employees performed the service. Before the oil change, I specifically asked them to show me the dipstick because I knew the oil level was low. They then sent me into the waiting room while they finished the service. I trusted that they had properly completed the job, paid, and left. Two days later, my oil light came back on. I returned to Rick’s on June 8th and explained that the oil light had come back on. The employee told me they remembered me and remembered doing my oil change. They said they would turn the light off. I specifically asked, “Are you sure you don’t want to check the dipstick?” They told me no, that it should be okay because I had just had an oil change. They suggested that maybe some oil had gotten onto the sensor and that the light would eventually go away. I trusted their judgment and left. That was my first mistake. Hours later, the oil light came back on again. I didn’t return immediate

Professional, courteous and competently expedient. These guys know what they're doing. When there's something wrong with my car that needs replacing or repairs Rick's Lube Complete Auto Care is my go-to. Also Fair competitive costs, as far as fair competitive pricing goes in Southern California.

Ricks lube is great!! We use them for maintenance and service on our company vehicles because they’ve proven to be the best, most reliable, and most fair shop around. I use them for my personal vehicles as well. Rick himself is incredibly friendly and kind, as well as the whole team. Never had a bad experience here!

ILWU brothers and sisters DO NOT come here! Total rip off. My family and I were stranded in 100 degree on a single mountain road for hours while we waited for a tow that cost us $786 since it was an RV. Then they screamed and cussed me out when I went in to talk to them about it. Their staff stood around mad dogging me and they took absolutely no responsibility for the fact they had just done work on it right before our trip and had messed up that work where I had to bring it back multiple times that same day because they had used the wrong part.

7/2022 update: their “Complete Auto Care” apparently requires a two hour wait for a brake inspection. They will not allow me to come back in two hours. You need to wait. Two years ago; Left Pep Boys that said they would need an hour, and saw Ricks. Pulled in and got an oil change in 15 minutes. Extra bonus they have a sign out front for a $23.99 oil change (extra oil and Jeep filter were extra)
